11.TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION |
ACUTE TOXICITY (LETHAL DOSES)
LD50 Ingestion rat Dose: > 2000 mg/kg
LD50 Dermal rat Dose: > 2000 mg/kg
ACUTE TOXICITY (IRRITATION, SENSITISATION ETC.)
Inhalation Symptoms: Dust may be irritant to the respiratory tract.
Skin contact Symptoms: Practically non-irritant to rabbit skin. Unlikely to cause skin
irritation in man. It is a mild skin sensitiser in animal tests. Repeated and/or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitisation in a small proportion of sensitive individuals. Unlikely to be hazardous by skin absorption.
Eye contact Symptoms: Non-irritant to rabbit eyes. Unlikely to cause eye irritation in man.
Ingestion Symptoms: Unlikely to be hazardous if swallowed.
DELAYED OR CHRONIC TOXICOLOGICAL EFFECTS
Long Term Exposure
Symptoms: Short term tests and a consideration of the structure have shown that it is unlikely to be a carcinogenic hazard to man. |
