4.FIRST AID MEASURES

Eye contact: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water. Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.
Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure. Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300 ml (half a pint) of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.
Medical advice: Symptomatic treatment and supportive therapy as indicated.

5.FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Special hazards: The material may form flammable dust clouds in air. If involved in a fire, it may emit noxious and toxic fumes. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
Extinguishing agents: water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2.

6.ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions: Protect against dust. Ensure suitable personal protection during removal of spillages.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses. Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be alerted to the appropriate regulatory body.
Methods for cleaning up: Clear up spillages. Transfer to a container for disposal. Wash the spillage area clean. Washings must be prevented from entering surface water drains.
