11.TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

ACUTE TOXICITY (LETHAL DOSES)

    LD50 Ingestion rat Dose: > 2000 mg/kg

ACUTE TOXICITY (IRRITATION, SENSITISATION ETC.)

Inhalation Symptoms: Unlikely route of exposure.
Skin contact Symptoms: Slight/mild irritant following a single application to rabbit skin. Severe/extremely severe irritant following repeated applications to rabbit skin. Will cause skin irritation. It is a mild skin sensitiser in animal tests. Repeated and/or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitisation in a small proportion of sensitive individuals.
Eye contact Symptoms: Mild irritant to rabbit eyes. May cause eye irritation in man.
Ingestion Symptoms: Unlikely to be hazardous if swallowed.

DELAYED OR CHRONIC TOXICOLOGICAL EFFECTS

Long Term Exposure Symptoms : Short term tests and a consideration of the structure have shown that it is unlikely to be a carcinogenic hazard to man.
