Application Range and Benefits:

A¡¢For organic pigment(such as azo toner) surface treatment. Increase the dispersability, color strength, and solvent resistance; improve the mobility and tinctorial effect.

B¡¢For offset ink application: Improve the mobility and the gloss of the ink, Increase the color strength and tinctorial effect of the pigment. For benzene-based gravure ink application: Decrease the viscosity of the ink, increase the dispersability and solvent resistance of the pigment, improve the tinctorial effect.

Usage and dosage:

A¡¢For organic pigment(such as azo toner) surface treatment: Stir CH-3 with pigment press-cake or add the emulsion/solution of CH-3 into the pigment before filtration. More suitably first dissolve CH-3 in rosin soap solution and treat the pigment with rosin together. Common dosage is 2-5% based on the dry weight of the pigment.

B¡¢For offset ink or benzene-based gravure ink application: First dissolve CH-3 in varnish or resin solution, mix them thoroughly, then add the pigment to grind. The dosage is 1-5% based on the dry weight of inorganic pigment, 2-15% of the dry weight of organic pigment or carbon black (decided by the specific area of the pigment).
