Application Range and Benefits:

Azo pigment (especially those for solvent-type coating and ink) surface treatment. Increase the dispersability and the solvent-resistance, decrease the viscosity, increase the color strength, and improve the tinctorial effect.

Usage and dosage:

Glacial acetic acid is dissolved in water to prepare the solution, which is to be added into the system before or during or after the coupling reaction(before the filtration), adjust the PH to more than 10 so that CH-8 can separate out and adsorb on the pigment surface, then keep at 90¡æ for more than half an hour to finish the surface treatment.

The dosage is decided according to the pigment specific area, usual dosage is 2-5% based on the dry weight of the pigment. You may use higher dosage (10% for example) to treat the pigment, then mix the treated pigment with the non-treated pigment at the proportion of 1£º4-5.

Remarks:¡¡

CH-M8, CH-8A and CH-8B has similar properties and usage with CH-8, yet, the price is lower.
